Tyler, Texas – Education Advanced, Inc. is proud to announce that its flagship product, TestHound®, was named a finalist for the 2019 EdTech Awards in the category for Cool New Tool in the Product/Service Award.
“We appreciate the recognition from EdTech and are honored to be seen among many other finalists and winners who are building innovative and exciting new educational technologies.”
— Jason DuBose, VP of Assessment and Strategic Advancement
The EdTech Awards recognizes people and companies in and around education for outstanding contributions in transforming education through technology to enrich the lives of learners everywhere.
“The EdTech Awards are unique in that we are very inclusive: Small startups can compete alongside much larger companies and unsung heroes are recognized alongside other leaders and visionaries.”
TestHound, originally known as Takscan, got its start as a desktop application and then got its signature name TestHound in 2013 when it transitioned to a web-based application. TestHound now serves districts representing over 60% of all Texas students as of 2019 and has expanded to Florida, Louisana, and Pensylvania.
TestHound, ultimately saves test coordinators time, and reduces paperwork and testing irregularities when managing the entire flow of testing and assessment in schools. TestHound is the only product within the educational technology market that performs these tasks for both paper and computer-based testing. Being recognized by EdTech confirms such testimonials received on a regular basis.
According to Jennifer Samuels, Everman ISD’s Executive Director of Assessment & Accountability: “TestHound is the best investment you could ever make to help reduce the workload and stress levels of your testing teams from district to campus level.”
Education Advanced Inc. and the TestHound Team are proud to continue showing that the human spirit is more alive and are committed to transforming the way schools can operate in education by supporting students and educators through the development of cutting-edge technology.
Furthermore, as recipients of this award, EAI and TestHound join the trendsetting ranks with such companies as Blackboard, Coursera, and Study Island just to name a few. This is just the beginning of what we will see come from the developers of this product.
